I'm glad you asked! Charcoal SumiBalls are an all natural, environmentally sustainable activated charcoal product that can be used in many ways. Today, I'm going to show you just one of the ways it can be used in your world.
Gardening
As you can see above, Charcoal SumiBalls are great for starting seeds, or better known as seed germination/propagation. Charcoal SumiBalls are great because they allow seedlings to grow a larger and stronger root structure. In a future post, I plan on showing you pictures of roots of seedlings grown in both dirt and Charcoal SumiBalls to compare the results.
Charcoal SumiBalls are ideal for holding water. In fact, each Charcoal SumiBall holds 70% of it's own volume in water, meaning that plants stay hydrated for longer, which cuts the amount of times you have to water your garden in half. Great for people who have brown thumbs like me who expect plants to be as resilient as styrofoam in a landfill. This is also convenient if you're out on vacation for a week or two and do not have nice enough neighbors (or rather neighbors you can trust to come into your house, period) to watch your plants.
The way you would use Charcoal SumiBalls in your gardening is simple. If you have a house plant, just throw some on top of the dirt in the pot and see what happens. If you are using it in your outdoor garden, do the same thing. If you want to start germinating some seeds this week, just place the Charcoal SumiBalls in a small container, place your seeds in it, and cover the seeds with more Charcoal SumiBalls (follow the directions on the seed package for planting depth). Then fill your container with enough water to barely cover the surface of the Charcoal SumiBalls and leave it in front of a sunny window for a week. Don't worry about your seeds drowning because the Charcoal SumiBalls will quickly absorb excess water. The results will amaze you!
We're always learning new things about Charcoal SumiBalls and would love to hear how it is positively affecting your gardening. Gardening enthusiasts like Guy from the UK are noticing that since incorporating Charcoal SumiBalls into their vegetable garden, they have seen a noticeable reduction in the amount of weeds popping up.
